Chance Magazine’s contest

(via Andrew Gelman) Chance Magazine, published by the American Statistical Association and Springer, is running a graphical display contest about early antibiotic effectiveness data. According to the announcement, Will Burtin was an “early developer of what has come to be called scientific visualization”. This could be interesting. The dataset is actually pretty small:

Winners get their graphics published, and a one-year subscription to the magazine. January 19th, however, is scary close to the SIGGRAPH deadline…
